‘Bridgerton’ Jonathan Bailey reveals shocking ‘Jurassic World’ filming incident

Jonathan Bailey has opened up about a terrifying incident from the Jurassic World: Rebirth set.

The actor, famed for playing Lord Anthony Bridgerton in the Netflix Bridgerton series, recalled how he was warned that he would die if bitten by a snake on set.

In an interview with The Daily Star Sunday, Jonathan talked about the “risky environment” he faced while filming the movie.

He said, “When you’re making a movie, you want to feel the world of the movie as much as possible.”

Jonathan added, “And my gosh, do you feel it when you’re up to your waist in snake-infested waters. You have snake wranglers around you who do make you feel safe, but they also say things like, ‘Be careful around this one. If you get bit, you die in 10 seconds…’”

He went on to describe it as a “visceral thrill” moment, adding, “I had never had that kind of experience on a set before. It was all very exciting, and I hope it’s matched by the film.”

Jurassic World: Rebirth also starring Scarlett Johansson alongside Jonathan Bailey is scheduled to release on July 2, 2025.
