As the behind-the-scenes video of the making of her song Opalite comes to light, Taylor Swift can be seen confidently embracing herself.
The pop sensation song Opalite from The Life of a Showgirl album is topping the Billboard Hot 100 and to celebrate the success, she posted a makeup-free clip from the recording studio in an Instagram post on Monday, February 23.
Swift treated her fans by sharing a few glimpses into what happened behind the scenes while recording the song but what actually caught attention was seeing her makeup-free in the video beside producer Max Martin.
The Fate of Ophelia crooner also briefed her fans, writing a caption that reads, “Just a few Opalite memories to celebrate the Hot 100 #1 you guys just got this song!!”
She is “blown away by the love” people have “shown this song and video” so much so that she “can’t even sum up my excitement.”
The excitement has doubled because after 2014’s 1989, it is the second time two songs from the same album have secured the top spot on the Hot 100 chart.
“I know that’s a lot of numbers but it all adds up to me being so thankful to the fans who helped make this happen by welcoming this song into your lives with open arms. Seriously bouncing off the walls about this!!” Swift said.
