Sterling K. Brown’s wife talks ‘Paradise’ spoilers

Ryan Michelle Bathé is revealing whether being married to Sterling K. Brown gets her any Paradise spoilers.

In a joint interview with Sterling, she was asked if she gets any spoilers.

“I know better [than to ask],” Bathé told Us Weekly. “Because I tried to beg for spoilers for This Is Us. And he’s like, ‘No, I’m telling you nothing.'”

“He knew how This Is Us was going to end when he signed up. I did not find out until the rest of the world,” she added.

Brown, 49, chimed in to explain his thoughts on knowing the end of a show.

“I like knowing [what will happen on my projects]. But I feel like it’s a question you only ask in TV. Because if you’re doing a film or play, you know the beginning, the middle and the end,” he noted.

“The idea that you don’t have to know or have it spoiled for you … it is also like I get a chance to help craft the arc of where it ultimately goes to. So I don’t mind knowing,” he added.

Bathé’s fandom of the season 1 of the hit show led her to host the companion podcast, but she was afraid that season 2 would be “sophomore slump.”

“Initially, I was a little bit lukewarm about doing the podcast because I was like, ‘There’s no way [they can top season 1],'” Bathé shared.

“How do you top perfection? You can’t match perfection. So I was going to try it but I was [preparing] for a sophomore slump. I was wrong. Not only was I wrong — but I was so very wrong,”she gushed.
