Expert reveals Meghan Markle’s views on Serena Williams

Serena Williams is a ‘good friend’ of Meghan Markle. However, in a recent post, she shared some reactions while discussing the tennis champ, which a body language expert said hinted at her honest views about her.

The Suits star appeared on Emma Grede’’s Aspire podcast. The host is herself an entrepreneur and a co-founder of the Skims brand.

During their discussion, the 42-year-old hailed the business acumen of 23-time Grand Slam winner, who has amassed a $350 million fortune.

However, the Duchess of Sussex’s name-dropping of Serena and her reaction to it is what caught the attention of body language expert Judi James.

She said the mum-of-two wore a “coyly smug smile” before she “works the name-drop by using a throwaway hand gesture” before averting her eyes to with an “even coyer smile.”

“Her comment of agreement with Emma’s successful entrepreneur praise for Serena comes with some incongruent-looking facial movements,” Judi noted.

The expert, in a chat with the Daily Mail, pointed out that it is unlike Meghan, who does not usually express such a reaction when she name-drops close friendships or discusses her husband, Prince Harry.

“When Meghan looks downward, and her jaw juts slightly, we can see a deliberate or subconscious hiding of her thoughts, with the jaw-jut suggesting a sense of determination,” Judi explained Harry’s wife’s reaction after Emma interrupted her while she was talking about Serena.

The awkward moment happened after Meghan took an indirect dig at the royal family when the host  asked what she would do “if you could rewrite your public narrative from scratch.”
