Miley Cyrus just opened up about the time her knee “disintegrated” and she ended up in the hospital.
The 32-year-old Grammy award winning singer was admitted into the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) months back as she told Jimmy Kimmel on his show about her experience filming on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for a music video.
“I filmed this video in October and by November at Thanksgiving I was put in ICU for a moment. Just for a moment, but it was mostly because it was Thanksgiving. There was a lot of people in the ER y’know, people choking on turkey legs or whatever,” Miley recalled.
The Wrecking Ball hitmaker continued, “My leg began to disintegrate within some way around the kneecap area. The doctor goes: ‘You have any idea why you would have such a brutal infection on your kneecap?’ and I just saw myself [dancing] and I had to tell them.”
“To have a surgeon look at you and say: ‘Yuck,’ like they open up like cadavers! Like they see inside the gut of humans and they’re looking at me telling me I’m disgusting, and they do brain operations,” she humorously added.
The Flowers crooner then confessed, “So then when it came time to y’know go to the Walk of Fame, they’re like: ‘So what are you gonna do? Are you gonna rent this thing or what? Because that’s really out of your price range’. I was like ‘no, we’ll just go in the middle of the night’.”
“Have you been to the Walk of Fame in the middle of the night? I thought it was my last day,” Miley Cyrus jokingly asked Jimmy Kimmel as the conversation over the topic came to a conclusion.
