Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stirred a controversy last month when the couple asked Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian to delete the royal couple’s photos from their Instagram accounts.
The pictures were taken at the 70th birthday of Kris Jenner who had invited the Duke and Duchess of Sussex among Hollywood celebrities on November 5.
Rumors of a feud between Meghan and Kris and Kim started doing the rounds after the photos were taken down from Instagram accounts of the mother-daughter duo.
In order to quash the rumors, Meghan Markle on November 10 liked Kris Jenner’s Instagram photos from her birthday party, something the former “Suits” rarely does. The photos, however, did not feature Harry and Meghan.
Meanwhile, some media outlets reported that the Duchess of Sussex had politely requested Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian to take down her photos, which they obliged with no offense taken.
Later, Kris Jenner reciprocated Meghan’s social media gesture by liking the Duchess of Sussex’s Instagram post featuring a behind-the-scenes video of her Harper’s Bazaar shoot on November 20.
However, Meghan and Kris Jenner’s recent social media activity hints at some trouble in their relationship.
The Duchess of Sussex did not react to Kris Jenner’s post celebrating her grandson Saint’s birthday on December 5, something which must not have gone unnoticed by Kim Kardashian and her mother.
Notably, Kris Jenner, who is often prominent among those who likes Meghan’s Instagram posts, has avoided engaging with the Duchess of Sussex’s posts shared on the platform since the birthday post of her grandson was ignored by Harry’s wife.
The mother of Kim Kardashian has also not liked Meghan Markle’s latest Instagram post featuring her husband and two children, Prince Archie and Lilibet.
The social media activities of Meghan Markle and Kris Jenner clearly show that their relationship has bee strained since the photos of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were taken down by the mother-daughter duo, although both sides subtly made efforts to keep things unchanged between them.
