Visionary filmmaker James Cameron directs the film, which marks the pop icon’s first concert movie. The Grammy winner also serves as co-director; together, they will bring attention from music and film circles.
Moreover, it was shot in 3D by the auteur, which will give viewers rich insight into her live performances and behind-the-scenes footage never seen before.
Also, given James’ pursuit of finding new ways of filmmaking, this concert movie apparently just provided him with the platform. As he previously teased in the trailer, “We’re using tech that’s never been used before.”
Beyond the immersion, Billie’s forthcoming 3D tour film will offer a personal look at her career after her first performance onstage without her long-time collaborator, brother Finneas.
