Tracy Ifeachor dropped bombshell on Noah Wyle on ‘The Pitt’ set

Tracy Ifeachor lost her wedding ring on the set of The Pitt and asked her co-star, Noah Wyle, a bold question.

In a talk with PEOPLE magazine, the 40-year-old British television actress, who depicts Dr. Heather Collins on the hit medical drama, revealed that she had given everything to the series, even her wedding ring.

Ifeachor said of the series’ success, “It’s so wonderful to see so many people supporting the work of these amazing characters who do these amazing things, and us as artists, to see our work acknowledged in this way.”

She went on to quip that everyone put their “heart, soul, blood, sweat and tears” into the show and joked that “a wedding ring, in my case, because I lost mine on set.”

Expanding on this, the Treason star explained, “I didn’t know what happened. It was in my room and then it just disappeared.”

After losing her ring, Ifeachor went to her costar Wyle, who plays the role of senior attending physician Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, for comfort, as he is also a love interest of Dr Collins in The Pitt.

“I remember going up to Noah [Wyle]. I put my head on his shoulder, and I said, ‘Am I still married?’ she recalled with a laugh.

Wyle just gave her a one-word reply by saying, “Yeah.”

However, Ifeachor could not find her wedding ring again even though everyone searched for it on the set. “Everyone was looking for it. We looked around my room. We checked the set.”

The Originals alum added, “I have two rings, so it’s fine. By the way, my husband was like, ‘It’s just a ring. It’s fine. We’re still married.’ He was very supportive, much more supportive than I would have been.”

“But yeah, I can say, there’s blood, sweat and tears, and a wedding ring that went into season 1. I’m so glad that [the show] received the reception that it has, because it really deserves it,” Ifeachor jokingly stated.

For the unversed, the hit HBO Max drama, The Pitt, was released on January 9, 2025, with the first two episodes and ended on April 10.

It is pertinent to mention that after the success of the first season, The Pitt has been renewed for the second season.
