For those unversed, the pair decided to move more than 5,000 miles to a new 43-acre property nestled in Cotswolds, in 2024.

Sharing more details about Ellen’s new life in the heart of the British countryside, a source told In Touch, “They knew going into this that it wasn’t going to be totally smooth sailing, it was always going to be a challenge.”

In addition to this, the insider shared that Ellen and Portia are planning to revamp their residence as per their liking.

“Taking on a big renovation in a foreign country is not easy. But they’re both very skilled at renovation. It’s one of their passions,” claimed the source.

Sharing more insights about their time together, the source said that the pair has “navigated plenty of hiccups” in the past with other projects.
