There have been growing rumours that this season could be his last in the NFL.
Speaking to reporters, New Heights podcast host admitted that he hasn’t made the final decision.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end assured that he would give clarity to the Chiefs in this regard.
He shared that he would follow his older brother Jason Kelce’s footsteps.
“You know, seeing my brother go through it and seeing…just how the league works, the season kind of restarts in April, and I want to give the Chiefs a good opportunity to know whether I come back or not,” he explained.
“And vice versa. Like, whether they want me back or not, it’s one of those things where I’d like to make that decision before they’ve got to get draft picks and free agency opens up.”
Super Bowl Champion added, “I’d like to make that decision before they’ve got to get draft picks and free agency opens to fill the roster appropriately… All that will be at the end of the season. I won’t be thinking about it until then.”
