Keith Powers finally revealed the secret behind his successful relationship with Ryan Destiny.
Speaking to People magazine at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival in France, the 32-year-old actor said that he attributes the success of their years-long romance to the fact that they “genuinely are best friends” and consider each other “family.”
“I think partnership really works when you really do look at your partner [the way you would look at] siblings, in a way,” said Keith.
He further said, “We could fight. We might not talk to each other for a minute. But we love each other. We come back. You know what I’m saying?”
“And I feel like for me and Ryan … it’s like this is family. It’s not a thing where [it’s like], ‘Oh, I didn’t like [that] she did a certain thing and now I don’t want to be in a relationship,’” added the Uglies star.
For those unversed, Keith and Ryan have rekindled their romance in February after a brief split. The two announced their separation in 2022 without giving a reason.
