Photo: Ed Sheeran admits coming across ‘dangerous people’ before taking extreme security measures

Ed Sheeran recently revealed that he has taken extreme security measures in order to keep his house from break-ins.

According to the latest findings of HuffPost UK, the Perfect singer confessed taking this measure after an attempted break-in at his residence in West Sussex.

Reportedly, his residence comprises five houses that he bought in 2012.

While appearing on the latest episode of the Louis Theroux Podcast, Ed Sheeran disclosed having 24-hour security at his Suffolk home.

“I do think that there is a different kind of normal that is our business,” he began.

The Shape of You crooner went on to address, “I have like 24-hour security on my house. I have security with my kids. I have security with me. I have security with my wife, just because there have been a couple of weird things over the years that have happened.”

“Just so you know, there are lots of dangerous people out there. We’ve had like you know, a break-in attempt,” he warned.

Before concluding the topic, he noted that such security concerns are “normal” in his “industry.”

“That’s kind of like an underlying thing that no one really talks about, but that is kind of a part of being in the public eye,” he remarked.
