David Beckham and Victoria Beckham share rare insight into household duties

Victoria Beckham and David Beckham have divided up their chores according to their best interests and, more importantly, their respective skills.

The retired soccer star, 50, and the Spice Girls alum, 51, both got into their kitchen to prepare dinner for their parents, who were visiting them on Sunday.

While David did the cooking, Victoria took to Instagram and filmed him skillfully preparing the meal, as he told the camera, “I am doing a Sunday roast for when our parents arrive in a few hours, which they should be very excited about.”

When the designer asked if her husband needed any help, he quipped, “From who?” urging her to make her offer clear, to which he sarcastically replied, “Absolutely not. Stay away!”

“What do you mean, just stay away?” Victoria laughingly asked, and David continued poking fun at her cooking skills, or the lack thereof.

“Darling, we are not making a ham and cheese toasty,” he said, and quickly clarified that it was a joke, adding, “We love you.”

In the subsequent Stories, Victoria wrote, “The parents have arrived!!” in which David was seen taking a shot while mixing the batter for Yorkshire pudding.

The couple then posed for a family photo with their parents and their daughter Harper, all seated at the dining table for dinner.

“We love you all!!!” the songstress wrote in the caption, with a heart emoji.

This is not the first time Victoria has admitted her inability to cook. Previously, in a 2024 episode of Hoda & Jenna, she said, “I do not do the cooking, I prepare the drinks.”

She explained, “I’ll be the bartender — someone’s got to do it. David will be doing the cooking. He’s actually a really good cook. He loves the whole prep.”
