Benson Boone’s ex-girlfriend Maggie Thurmon has spoken about their recent breakup for the first time and seemingly revealed the real reason behind the end of their relationship.
The social media influencer, 23, candidly replied to a comment which is now deleted, where she indirectly claimed that the Mystical Magical hitmaker, 23, cheated on her.
One of Thurmon’s fan commented on her TikTok, “Bro if Benson cheated I will turn this car right around,” to which she replied, “Put your blinker on babe.”
The comment was quickly screenshotted by eagle-eyed fans and became a topic of debate before the actress deleted her statement.
She then shared a separate comment clarifying that she did not want to talk about her personal relationship online, writing, “I got overwhelmed. I’ve always been a more private online person, tonight I remembered why. Thank you to everyone who was sending love, I appreciate y’all so much.”
The news of the pair’s breakup broke out last month after a TMZ report. They soon unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Although the Beautiful Things singer has not directly spoken about the breakup, he hinted at parting ways with people during a show few days after the news, saying, “Sometimes people leave in life. Whether it’s the right thing or the wrong thing.”
