Kim Raver recalls most intense scene from ’24’ series: Source

More than a decade after the gripping series finale of 24, actress Kim Raver opened about the one scene that continues to haunt her, an emotionally charged interrogation with Jack Bauer, played by Kiefer Sutherland.

Raver, who portrayed Audrey Raines, daughter of President James Heller, joined the show in 2005 and appeared across three seasons.

Despite numerous dramatic moments, she told People that one particular scene from season 5 remains unforgettable.

In regards to this, Raver shared, “I think a highlight storyline was that interrogation scene between Audrey and Jack, because I love when things are super complicated.”

The moment in question sees Jack detain and interrogate Audrey, suspecting her of leaking intel to terrorists, a move that shattered their romantic bond and tested their loyalty to each other and the country.

Moreover, she recalled, “Yet we were also madly in love with each other, and he literally takes me out of the chair and kind of like, has me up against the wall questioning me. Talk about trust and incredible writing. It was just a spectacular moment.”

While reflecting on the emotional complexity of the scene, Raver noted, “For the first time, our characters weren’t on the same page, and he was questioning Audrey’s love for him and for the country — and she wasn’t a mole.”

While the show may have ended, Raver says her connection with Sutherland hasn’t: the two still cross paths occasionally during the holidays or when she attends his music performances.

Away from the screen, Raver is a mother of two and has been married to filmmaker Manu Boyer for 25 years.
