Miley Cyrus made headlines in New York City on Friday as she arrived at the premiere of her new visual album Something Beautiful, held at The Beacon Theatre during the 2025 Tribeca Festival.
The 32-year-old singer dazzled in a sheer mesh gown layered over a nude bustier, complemented by a dramatic fringe shawl and drop earrings.
According to Daily Mail, her red carpet appearance comes shortly after a revealing interview on The Ringer’s Every Single Album podcast, where Cyrus discussed her past struggles with drug use.
She admitted to disguising drug expenses as “vintage clothes” on tour receipts to keep them hidden from her accountant.
As per the publication, she said, “We called them vintage clothes… it was the biggest cost,” while recalling how she’d pretend to buy rare fashion pieces to explain away large sums.
Cyrus, who has openly spoken about her journey to sobriety over the years, expressed gratitude for surviving that chapter of her life, “I’m so glad I survived that time… I wouldn’t encourage anyone else to go that hard.”
Something Beautiful, released on May 30 as her ninth studio album, marks what Cyrus calls her “psychedelic” era and has received largely positive reviews, with Rolling Stone giving it four out of five stars.
