The former couple share three children together

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s custody agreement has revealed a shocking new detail about their divorce.

The Oscar winning actress officially filed for divorce from her husband-of-19-years on September 30. Soon after, speculation about the timeline of their split began brewing, with past interviews and other telling details resurfacing.

Now, court documents obtained by People magazine show the former couple had already quietly signed off on a parenting plan long before the divorce became public. The musician signed the agreement on August 29, while Kidman followed on September 6.

The plan names Kidman as the primary residential parent, giving her 306 days a year with their daughters compared to Urban’s 59.

While parenting time is uneven, both agreed to make major decisions together and to avoid defaming each other. Neither will pay monthly child support, as Urban has “already prepaid all child support obligations.”

The settlement underscores a split long in the making.

Most notably, an awkward On Air With Ryan Seacrest interview with Urban from July resurfaced. When asked about balancing life with Kidman and their daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, the country star gave a strained reply: “It’s a job, yeah. Life is in session.”
