Miley Cyrus shares honest thoughts about motherhood

Miley Cyrus has revealed why she hasn’t had kids yet and if she wants to become a mother.

Miley, 32, noted that she isn’t all about becoming a biological mother and would like to adopt someone instead.

Speaking on The New York Times’ The Interview podcast, the Party in the USA hitmaker explained her stance on motherhood by relating it to her not having a makeup brand.

“My stepdad asked me the other day, ‘Why are you the only one without a makeup line?’” she said.

“I was like, ‘Cause that’s not my passion.’ He goes, ‘That’s the right answer.’ And it made so much sense. It’s like, ‘I don’t have a makeup line because I’m not a makeup artist.”

Comparing it to having kids, she explained, “I feel that way about motherhood. It’s just never been something that I’ve been overly passionate about.”

“It’s a lot of responsibility and devotion and energy, and if you’re not passionate about that, I don’t know how you do sleepless nights and 18 years of what my mum dealt with,” Miley added.

“And when I say 18 years, I mean 33, ’cause I’m still a baby. So I’ve never felt the burn, you know? And I think for me, the burn is everything,” Miley Cyrus added.
