Scarlett Johansson starrer ‘Jurassic World: Rebirth’ will hit theaters on July 2

Scarlett Johansson shared how much the Jurassic franchise means to her and how she feels to be a part of it after having dreamed of it for over 15 years.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Johansson admitted she didn’t hold back when she found out a new installment of the beloved franchise was being made.

The Black widow star said she pitched herself directly to Jurassic Park creator Steven Spielberg and finally landed the role in the upcoming movie Jurassic World: Rebirth.

“I had a meeting with him and I don’t actually know if he knew the depths of my Jurassic fandom, but I’m hoping that no one explained it to him too thoroughly because it maybe would’ve come off as being a little too much,” Johansson shared.

She added, “Although knowing Steven now, he was excited when I shared with how much it would mean to me to play any part in Jurassic. I could’ve played it cooler and maybe I wouldn’t have gotten it.”
