Actor Jonathan Joss was shot dead on Sunday night in San Antonio, Texas.
According to reports, the “King of the Hill” actor who voiced John Redcorn, found dead by officers who were sent to a shooting in progress at a home on Sunday night around 7 p.m.
The officers found the actor near the road when they arrived at the scene.
According to Variety, he was shot multiple times. The officers attempted life-saving measures until medics arrived, but Joss was pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooter fled in a vehicle but was detained by officers a block away and booked for murder.
TMZ reported that Joss was shot by a neighbor after a disagreement and investigation was still ongoing.
Joss voiced John Redcorn from Season 2 through Season 13 of “King of the Hill” and already recorded lines for the upcoming revival of the popular animated series.
His fans were left devastated by the news of his shocking death and took to social media to pay tribute to the actor.
